Visiting Monroe County Jail Inmates
In-person visits are available Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visits must be scheduled no fewer than 2 and no more than 14 calendar days ahead. They last 30 minutes and are free in person. Remote visits use CIDNET and require a fee. Visitors need a valid state ID or driver's license, and up to four visitors may be approved at one time.

Visits may be denied for no-contact orders, vulgar or indecent actions, loud or disruptive behavior, being under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs, or similar security reasons. The jail page also stated masks are required during visitation.

Bond at Monroe County Jail
Bond may be posted at the Clerk of Courts office during business hours. After business hours, the jail accepts cash in the exact amount because it cannot make change. GovPayNow is the online or phone bond-payment route, and Monroe County gives PLC 1480 for warrants or bonds. The sheriff page gives PLC 1479 for citations, which should not be confused with the warrant or bond code.

Huber EMP and Book Release

Justice Center Visitor Entry
Justice Center screening is a strong local detail for visitors. The court-security page tells visitors to empty pockets, place personal items in bins or on a conveyor, send purses, briefcases, backpacks, and coats through X-ray, and walk through a metal detector.
